Seventeen trucks, one set of numbers. Payments use your loan terms below; the ranking uses my scoring, which you can re-weight. Tap a truck for the verdict and what to ask the dealer.
Each truck gets 0–10 on eight things: fifth-wheel readiness (payload and factory prep), drivetrain for long-haul towing, warranty and miles risk, cabin, price against the market, history and dealer risk, distance from Farmington, and towing tech. The weights are mine; open "Tune the ranking" to make them yours. My call on each truck (Buy, Conditional, Pass) is separate from the score, so you can see where they disagree.
Payment math: (price + doc fee) × (1 + tax) + add-ons − down, amortized at your APR over your term. Add-ons are my estimates and are off by default.
The licensing line on each truck is the trailer rating that puts you in Class A CDL territory for Packard work: 26,001 lb minus the truck's GVWR. A trailer rated 10,000 lb or less needs no CDL at any truck weight.
Business-purchase note for Grace: every truck here is over 6,000 lb GVWR, so Section 179 and bonus depreciation apply to the business-use share.
